About Word Connect

My interpretation for this theme was to create a Wordle inspired word guessing game with a twist, where a pair of words are connected by their starting/ending letter. The player must enter a 5-letter word that starts with the last letter of the previous entry to form a word connection. The aim of this game is to perform as many word connections before the timer runs out. I have implemented a Scrabble style scoring system so the player will be rewarded for using more diffcult letters in their entries.

Rules

• You cannot enter the same word twice.
• Only words recognised in Scrabble are accepted.
• You cannot use plurals ( a 4-letter word + 's' )

Controls

Use the mouse to interact with the UI and the keyboard to enter responses. This game is also Mobile-Friendly, so the UI elements can be triggered through touch.
